Dr. Alice Baker is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. She is also certified for canine rehabilitation.  Her training focused on a comprehensive understanding of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine including the specific modality of Acupuncture.  Traditional Acupuncture focuses on correcting imbalances in the body as well as treating the specific clinical symptoms including but not limited to:

  • Arthritis
  • Intervertebral disc disease
  • Neuropathies
  • Wobblers
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Ligament and tendon injuries
  • Epilepsy

Herbal Therapy:

We carry Standard Process Herbal Formulas as well as Chinese Herbal Formulas through Dr. Xie’s Jing Tang Herbal.  Herbal therapy is an excellent addition to help treat your pet’s chronic problems such as arthritis, skin allergies, digestive problems, as well as kidney, liver, and heart disease.


Dr. Alice is a certified animal chiropractor through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA).  She studied through Parker University in Dallas, Texas.  Chiropractic care is a great way to keep your performance animals competing at their highest potential.  It is also great for those pesky subtle and/or intermittent lameness’s that conventional medicine doesn’t always fix.

Laser Therapy:

A Class 4 laser allows for faster treatment times than other lasers, so it is great for our wiggly and impatient patients. Laser therapy is an excellent way to help treat your pet’s arthritis, back and neck pain, acute injuries, skin infections, and help aid in wound healing.
